“The whole firm is as talented as they get, but Wayne is a visionary. We had Visbeen Architects design our home in downtown Sarasota. We only knew we wanted a modern design, and it had to fit in a property with difficult dimensions to work with. Wayne met with us in person, already with floor plans sketched, and did a live sketch in front of us of a 3-D illustration of our entire home in 30 minutes (or less). He designed a home that met all of our needs and desires, utilizing every inch possible but then incorporating creative flairs that will make the home a timeless and unique design. An under-appreciated element that the builder and subcontractors will appreciate, though, is the detail in the final set of drawings. There are very few questions when it comes time to build these designs, no matter how intricate. Finally, Wayne stands by his product until it is finished, and he's the one you're dealing with directly until it's over. We have nothing but exceptional things to say about Visbeen Architects.”

“While our square footage was limited, Wayne really optimized space to incorporate our family’s needs, including a big island/breakfast bar, a good-sized dining room, and our coffee station, which he outfitted with a wine fridge and tucked into the wall of a big opening between our kitchen and back hallway. Wayne made this area and other spaces upstairs and down feel more open and bright with natural light by placing the stairs in a back west corner of floor-to-ceiling glass. He also expanded our living space and made the outdoors great to be by working in a covered porch with Phantom Screens® off the kitchen. Our amazing interior designer, Julie Holmes (Vision Interiors), understood my motto that a house should tell the story of the people who live there. She could anticipate what I’d like and narrow options to make choosing effortless. She also kept price point in focus. We couldn't be happier with our new home and the team that helped bring our vision to reality.”
