Thacker Sleight Law Offices
The commercial design project for Thacker Sleight law offices, undertaken by Visbeen Architects, transformed a historic property in the Heritage Hill district of Grand Rapids into a state-of-the-art attorney’s office.
Cornerstone University Baseball Stadium
Cornerstone University found itself at a crossroads. Without a baseball team, the generous donation of $2 million for a stadium seemed like a missed opportunity. The university was also grappling with financial constraints and a pressing need for additional student housing. It was during a board meeting that a seemingly impossible solution emerged.
CWD Center Office
Located in the center of the vibrant downtown urban district, this 118-year-old building needed repair and redesign to become suitable for new tenants. Originally designed in 1896, the seven-story, 69,000 sq. ft. building received a major update for both the interior and exterior to improve the integrity of the structure and appeal of the interior office spaces.
42 North Offices
Located in the city's core, this executive suite is on the fourth floor in a mixed-use building overlooking a main road in the center of a growing city. Traditional in character, this executive suite is more than just a workplace; it is a thriving family business suited to entertain multiple clients, from entrepreneurs to medical professionals.
Cornerstone University Chapel
Cornerstone University's Christ Chapel features a contemporary design rooted in the collegiate Gothic style. The chapel's exterior elements include gables at the four cardinal points, allowing ample natural light to fill the sanctuary. The building's materials harmonize with the existing campus architecture, creating a cohesive visual experience. Two main entrances, one for off-campus arrivals and one for on-campus foot traffic, converge into a common lobby, enhancing accessibility and flow.
