Hudsonville Ice Cream
Details
Visbeen Architects' longstanding partnership with Hudsonville Ice Cream reached new levels with the design of their updated headquarters in Holland, Michigan. The iconic Michigan ice cream brand sought to expand its operations and solidify its market presence.
The project involved a complete overhaul of an existing commercial space, coupled with a significant expansion. The heart of the new facility is a massive freezer, a testament to Hudsonville Ice Cream's commitment to future growth and innovation. Visbeen Architects was tasked with transforming this industrial space into a captivating and functional headquarters that reflected the brand's identity. Drawing inspiration from contemporary architecture and global design trends, the team embarked on a journey to create a truly exceptional space.
The result is a stunning complex featuring a porte cochere, a grand entrance that welcomes visitors with a sense of arrival. Overcoming the challenge of incorporating existing offices into the new design, Visbeen Architects crafted unique throughways and traffic patterns that seamlessly integrate the old with the new.
The exterior of the building received an equally dramatic makeover. A generic office structure was transformed into a striking facade that complements the contemporary aesthetic of the interior. The new Hudsonville Ice Cream headquarters is a testament to the power of design to elevate a brand and create a truly inspiring workspace.
