Ellianne Huizinga
Project Designer
Ellianne’s design philosophy is shaped by a unique academic background and a lifelong fascination with architecture. Inspired by Wayne Visbeen’s presentation at her eighth-grade career day, Ellianne decided to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies & Latin with a minor in Architecture at Calvin University.
Her education fostered a deep appreciation for history and aesthetics, which continues to influence her design approach. Following graduation, Ellianne completed a Master of Architecture at the University of Michigan, giving her the technical expertise required to meticulously translate initial design concepts into the digital models and construction drawings critical for project realization at Visbeen Architects.
Ellianne thrives on the problem-solving inherent in each project. The challenge lies in meticulously balancing functionality with captivating aesthetics. This ongoing pursuit fuels her passion for design, and the greatest satisfaction comes from delivering designs that excite our clients.
Beyond the professional realm, Ellianne is a dedicated traveler with a keen interest in diverse cultures and communities. These experiences serve as a continual source of inspiration, not only for her design work but also for creative pursuits like LEGO building and drawing. When not traversing the globe, Elllianne cherishes quality time with loved ones, particularly when they can all appreciate the beauty of the outdoors together.
